Since January 2024, Headmaster Pu Lalkholun Haokip has been tirelessly campaigning for admissions at Gamnom Sapormeina Government Under Junior Board School. With unwavering dedication, he has:
* Visited relief camps and surrounding villages, encouraging economically disadvantaged families to entrust their children's education to the school.
* Conducted door-to-door outreach, promoting the school's potential and his vision for its growth.
* Personally funded improvements to classroom infrastructure, including new benches and desks.
* Privately paid salaries to two teaching staff members to ensure smooth school operations and student welfare.
* Supplementing government provisions, he funded mid-day meals for over 100 students.
The village chief, impressed by the Headmaster's commitment, has offered unwavering support. Together, they have initiated construction of two new classrooms.
Under the Headmaster's leadership, the school staff shares his dedication, working tirelessly for the students' benefit.

Rebuilding Hope: The Resilience of DM Memorial School, C. Zoulen Village
Located in C. Zoulen Village, Saikul Sub-Division, our school once thrived with 140 enrolled students (till 2023). However, tragedy struck:
- On May 3, 2023, our school was brutally burnt down by Meiteis.
- Displaced, our villagers sought refuge at L. Songtun Relief Camp, grappling with trauma.
Despite adversity:
- Displaced parents initially enrolled their children in nearby private schools.
- However, struggling to afford tuition fees, they turned to Pu Manggun for help.
With compassion and determination:
- Pu Manggun, despite having nothing left, restarted the school in 2024.
- Dedicated to God, he utilized available infrastructure at L. Songtun Relief Camp.
Today:
- Pre-Nursery to Class 5, with 110 students.
- Free education for displaced students; nominal fees (Rs. 250) for non-displaced students.
- Village Elders, Parents, and Teachers unite to nurture young minds.
Pu Manggun's selfless efforts ignite hope amidst devastation.
