"Pursuant to Section 5(h) of its Memorandum of Association, the Chartered Institute of Advanced Studies (CIAS) confers awards and honors, including Honorary Degrees or Honoris Causa, for distinguished contributions to academia, research, or public service."

The CIAS recognizes Dean, Professors, Principals, Teachers, Counsellors and Educators who are dedicated to guidance, counselling, teaching and research in the field of education. The award scheme has a Criteria, Standards, Regulations, Application Form, Expert Committee, and Judging Process, etc. that are governed by the Governing Body of CIAS.
